Port Huron, Michigan

Just a bit on the cold side to be a fishing....but there I was new license in my pocket and getting my lines wet for the first time this year. I'm dressed for the weather and knew I would not get a bite. Enjoying the time near the water, now that's an understatement. The water was way to churned up with the rain and all, for me think about catching fish. But, here I was, and must admit....it was a good outing. The ice and snow are gone and the boats have returned for the season. I will come back to this spot on a warmer day and limit out. That's Canada in the back ground across the Saint Clair River just south of the Blue Water Bridges. The water isn't as blue as it could be just now, but... if you have never seen the blue water area....it is truly a blue water area. When can you look down into the water and can see 35 or 40 feet and make out the bottom.... it puts a smile on your face. I have to admit the water around this here fishing hole is far to beautiful, for words alone. If you ever get the chance.... come see us here in Michigan.
